Spring fashion is all about individuality and "daring to wear" whatever it is that YOU feel most comfortable in. Thankfully, Fashion Gurus have given us a few pointers to get us on the right track.
Springtime 2010 is taking fashion right back to basics, with "less is more" being the philosophy and "functionality" the signature look of the season. Whether it's Ralph Lauren, Chloé or M&S, cute jackets, khaki dresses, denim pieces, and a plethora of soft pants are the items to be seen in and those which adorned runways across the globe during the unveiling of the latest spring collections. The Fashion trends for this Autumn/ Winter season are guaranteed to take you back in time, with everything from the fabrics to the make-up exuding the feel of the 1950’s, 70’s and 80’s. Living on the Mediterranean lends itself to wearing vivid, dramatic colours all year round, so the infusion of teal, fuchsia, deep purples and sassy limes is great news for those of us who are lucky enough to be living in the sun. Leather and shiny fabrics are on trend, with trousers, skirts and sexy knee high boots being the perfect way to wear them. Distressed denim items are also a must have for any fashion conscious female, and are so versatile they can be worn for virtually any occasion. When paired with a fitted blouse they provide the perfect attire for a day at the office or add a glitzy top and you are ready for a night on the town.
