A Beautiful Boda in Almansa.
The Spanish are known for their extravagant celebrations and their weddings are no exception to the rule, as Zest and the Magazine's exclusive Photographer, Ken Taylor, discovered when Eduardo and Alexia tied the knot.
The couple was thrown together by a crowd of mutual friends four years ago, with the initial meeting taking place in a cafeteria in Elche, and from there the romance blossomed.... Alexia was working as a Waitress in a Restaurant in Alicante at the time, although has since taken a break from work to care for their one-year old son, while Edu works for the Policia Local. Alexia described their history as a typical whirlwind romance, as they hit it off instantly and were living together within a week!
The Wedding Ceremony, or Boda, took place on a sunny November afternoon in a Church within the beautiful town of Almansa, in Albacete, in the presence of 200 guests. It was a very traditional service, emphasized by the official attire worn by Edu and his fellow Officers, whilst Alexia looked radiant in abundant cascades of white satin and lace. She described the day as her "dream wedding", and confirmed that she would not have changed a thing.
Once the festivities were over, the happy couple jetted off to join Alexia's parents for a break in their hometown of Moldova, and are also looking forward to an official Honeymoon in Las Vegas later in the year.
